Micah Sykes, 31, is accused of fatally stabbing his father, 71-year-old Jubilant Sykes, at the family's Santa Monica home on Monday, Dec. 8.
He performed in such venues as the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Apollo Theater and the Hollywood Bowl.
A 31-year-old man was taken into custody after his father, Jubilant Sykes, a Grammy-nominated opera singer, was found dead inside a Southern California home.
